Additional Projects
Besides or at least partly besides my research I am doing interesting projects from time to time. You can find some of the projects on the following pages...
- The labsystem is a web based eLearning system that runs successfully at our university for many years now.
- The iLab is mainly mentioned as a didactical course concept here. It is also successfully running for many years at our university.
- The infoscreen is worldwide unique hardware, namely a multitouch monitor with Ambilight.
- The videoplatform is becoming a fully automated workflow from recording a talk to the publishing on a portal side.
- The miniCMS is a lightweight CMS that is powering this side for instance.

MySQL/ PHP: Export/ Import/ Delete Labs
The Labsystem is the web-based eLearning system our practical exercises iLab and iLab2 are currently running within.
The system is currently lacking a versioning function for its content. We need this functionality to exchange course material and especially improvements in it with other universities that also run the system for the respective courses.
The system is running on a MySQL database and it is written in PHP. As the Import/ Export/ Delete functionality is somehow aside the current system the necessity to understand the existing system’s code is limited. Nevertheless the new functionality must be integrated inside the system.
Your task is to implement an Export/ Import and Delete functionality on the database.
